Energy Central: DER Set to Forge Ahead in 2021

Falling prices of Distributed Energy Resources, energetic new state and federal policies, and end-user demand in 2021 will spur growth. Large-scale renewable projects will continue to be implemented, but also localized, decentralized inputs, including rooftop solar, batteries and electric vehicles (EVs), will be central to protecting reliability, according to a new Southern California Edison (SCE) report describing the transformation the future grid.
